Do you create KILLER content?! Capture the thrill of trick-or-treat season and submit your most visually captivating Halloween photo for a chance to reign king over this category! It’s up to you to compose the shot EXACTLY how you want — from picking out the perfect costume (for you or a subject of your choosing), framing the shot, background scenery, composition, lighting, editing, etc. To win this category, you’ll need to have a great costume (featuring at least one SpiritHoods item) AND an amazing photo of you or your subject.

• BEST COUPLES COSTUME — $500 Gift Card per couple (or $250 each)

This is one of our newer categories, but we had so much fun with it, we decided to bring it back! If you’ve got some sickkkkkk makeup skills, we want to see it!! A couple requirements for this one: 1) the makeup should compliment your 2020 costume, and 2) your costume must include at least ONE SpiritHood product. So put on some of the wildest makeup you’ve ever done for your 2020 Halloween costume and enter for a chance to win this category!

Submit a photo of your animal-inspired SpiritHoods costume on either Instagram — or — Facebook by November 3, 2020. DO NOT submit on both platforms.

How to enter via INSTAGRAM:

Post a photo or video of your costume to your Instagram feed.

• Step 1. Make sure your Instagram profile is PUBLIC.
  We will not be able to see entries from private profiles. :(
• Step 2. Post a photo or video of your costume to your feed (NOT stories) and include this in your caption: This is my entry to the 2020 @SpiritHoods Costume Contest with over $2,000 in prizes!#SHCOSTUMECONTEST2020

*If you don't want to make your Instagram profile public, you may enter by posting on the SpiritHoods Facebook page instead.

How to enter via FACEBOOK:

Submit a photo or video of your costume to SpiritHoods facebook wall.

• Step 1. Go to the SpiritHoods Facebook Page.
• Step 2. Create a post.
• Step 3. Upload a photo or video of your costume.
• Step 4. Include this in your caption: This is my entry to the @SpiritHoods Costume Contest with over $2,000 in prizes! #SHCOSTUMECONTEST2020
• Step 5. Post.

OFFICIAL RULES

Entries will be accepted until 11:59pm PST November 3, 2020.

You will officially be entered into the contest once your costume has been submitted via Instagram or Facebook.

Prizes will be awarded via electronic Gift Card and delivered via email after the winners are announced on November 5, 2020. Winners will be announced on this page as well as on social media. Please Direct Message (DM) us to claim your prize.

PHOTO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Submit ONE (1) photo on either platform (BUT NOT BOTH) using the hashtag #SHCOSTUMECONTEST2020. Original photos only. Costume photos with any type of watermarks including copyright signs, website addresses, or logos are not eligible and will not be entered into the contest. 

LET US KNOW WHAT YOUR COSTUME IS

Please be sure to include the name of your costume so that we know exactly what you were for HOWL-O-WEEN. Feel free to include the story or source of your costume inspiration! :)

SUBMIT MULTIPLE ENTRIES

Each unique costume submitted will count as ONE (1) entry.You may enter multiple times using different costumes; but each costume may only be submitted ONCE. Duplicate costume entries will be disqualified. Remember, even if you submit multiple entries, you may only win once.

USAGE

By entering this contest you are granting SpiritHoods the rights to use the submitted content on our properties, including our social media channels, website, and newsletter. Winners may be featured several times across multiple platforms.

Winners will be announced on Thursday, November 5th, 2020.

IMPORTANT: Because Instagram has temporarily restricted hashtags during the election, we are currently unable to view all entries with the #SHCOSTUMECONTEST2020 hashtag.

We will announce winners as soon as the temporary restrictions have been lifted.
