Enter to win the SpiritHoods 2019 HOWL-O-WEEN Costume Contest!! There's PLENTY of chances to win over $2,000 in prizes with SIX categories to enter!

HOW TO ENTER

Submit a photo of your 2019 SpiritHoods HOWL-O-WEEN inspired costume featuring one or more of your SpiritHood items, on either Instagram or Facebook by November 1, 2019 (DO NOT submit on both platforms).

For Instagram submissions: (Post to your page)

Submit a photo and include this in your caption:
This is my entry to the @SpiritHoods Costume Contest. Enter to win over $2,000 in prizes! #SHHowloween2019

For Facebook submissions: (Post to our wall)

Submit a photo to SpiritHoods facebook wall.

1. Go to the SpiritHoods Facebook Page.
2. Create a post.
3. Upload your 2019 HOWL-O-WEEN inspired photo.
4. Include the following in your caption: This is my entry to the @SpiritHoods Costume Contest. Enter to win over $2,000 in prizes! #SHHowloween2019
5. Post.

*If your Instagram is not public, we will not see your post. If you don't want to make your Instagram profile public, please post on the SpiritHoods Facebook Wall or vice versa.

RULES FOR ENTRY

Entries will be accepted through November 1, 2019. When your costume is posted on Instagram using the #SHHowloween2019 or directly to the SpiritHoods Facebook page, you will officially be entered into the contest. Gift Cards will be delivered via email after the winners are announced on November 5, 2019. SpiritHoods will Direct Message the winners via the social media platform they used to submit their entry.

COSTUME PHOTOS

Submit only ONE (1) photo on either platform using the hashtag #SHHowloween2019. Original photos only. Costume photos with any type of watermarks including copyright signs, website addresses, or logos are not eligible and will not be entered into the contest.

COSTUME DESCRIPTION

Please be sure to name your costume so we know exactly what you were for Halloween. Feel free to include the source of your costume inspiration! :)

MULTIPLE ENTRIES

You may submit multiple costumes (but DO NOT submit the same costume more than once). Each unique costume you submit will count as ONE (1) entry. Remember, even if you submit multiple entries, you may only win once.

USAGE

By submitting photos on our social channels for this contest you are granting SpiritHoods the rights to use the submitted photos on our social media channels, website, and newsletter. Winners may be featured several times across all platforms.

 

Submission Deadline: Friday, November 1, 2019 @ 11:59pm PST.

Winners will be announced on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.

 

AWARD #1: BEST COSTUME 

Think YOUR costume is in a league of its own?! We want to see it!! The more creative, the better. Use make-up, clothing, and any other accessories you can think of to take your SpiritHood costume game to the next level! There are no rules (other than using SpiritHoods as part of your costume), so be a visionary and think as far outside the box as you want! 

Prize: $500 SpiritHoods Gift Card

AWARD #2: BEST COSTUME PHOTO

Do you take KILLER photos?! Capture the thrill of trick-or-treat season and submit your most visually captivating Halloween photo for a chance to reign king over this category! It’s up to you to compose the shot EXACTLY how you want — from picking out the perfect costume (for you or a subject of your choosing), framing the shot, background scenery, composition, lighting, editing, etc. To win this category, you’ll need to have a great costume (featuring at least one SpiritHoods item) AND an amazing photo of you or your subject. 

Prize:$500 SpiritHoods Gift Card

AWARD #3: BEST KIDS COSTUME (12 AND UNDER)

Kids 12 years old or younger can enter to win something too!! Let your kids imagination run wild and help them win our Kids Best Costume category! With no rules besides including a SpiritHoods item as part of their costume, the possibilities are endless! ANY costume can win—scary costumes, cute costumes, creative costumes… you name it, we want to see it! 

Prize: $150 SpiritHoods Gift Card

AWARD #4: BEST COUPLES COSTUME

The best things in life often come in twos — and this category is no different! All you’ll need is a good theme and your best friend, lover, coworker, or random person you met 5 minutes ago to wear a matching costume with you! At least ONE SpiritHoods product must be used as part of the costume, but BOTH costumes must be related and complimentary to be eligible to win this category.

No SpiritHood? No problem! This category is for anyone who has always wanted to own a SpiritHood but hasn’t been able to join the pack just yet. BUT NOW’S YOUR CHANCE!! Submit your most creative animal-inspired costume for a chance to win your very first SpiritHood! Participants in this category must NOT own a SpiritHoods item (but also, please don’t wear any competitor Hoods or Coats).

This was a new category last year, but it did so well we’re bringing it back! If you’ve got some sickkkkkk makeup skills, we want to see what you can do!! A couple requirements for this one: 1) the makeup should compliment your 2019 costume, and 2) your costume must include at least ONE SpiritHood product. So put on some of the wildest makeup you’ve ever done for your 2019 Halloween costume and enter for a chance to win this category!
