Shipping Policy

FREE UPS Surepost Shipping on U.S. retail orders over $299 shipping within the Continental US. 

PLEASE NOTE: The return information listed below is for consumer (or “individual”) customers only. This does not apply to wholesale accounts.

Shipping Policy

Orders placed from October - December can take 2-7 business days to process before shipping. All express orders are prioritized before shipping and can still take 1-3 business days to process during November-December.

If our shipping provider (UPS) cannot guarantee 2-day or Overnight Service, we will *not* give you this option at check out and only offer Ground. If the option is available you will see it at check out.
We ship out of Downtown Los Angeles, any city or state within a 1day ship zone, will only have the option for ground, this way you can save some money and still receive within the same time frame, arooooOOoo!

In-stock orders ship within 1-3 business days, Monday through Friday. We do not process orders on the weekend, so orders placed on Friday usually ship out on Monday.

Orders placed on during holidays will begin processing the next business day. No weekend or holiday delivery is available.  All stock orders ship from our warehouse in Los Angeles, CA.

Orders placed after 12:00 pm PST are typically processed the following business day. We currently do not ship to PO Boxes. You may also choose to upgrade to expedited delivery for an additional charge. You will be notified if there are any out of stock items and its expected receipt date. All orders will be shipped via UPS.

Orders placed from Oct-Dec could take 5-8 business days to process before shipping. All express orders are prioritized before shipping but can still take 1-3 business days to process.

If you place multiple orders within 1-2 business days, and they are going to the same address, if we catch this, we will combine the orders and ship them together. You will be refunded for your shipping cost and notified immediately. We cannot promise this will always happen, and seasonally this is not something we can do from Nov-Dec.

We do not pre-charge customs at check out, all customs fees must be paid by the recipient at the time of delivery. Please see more on this below. :)

Shipping Costs

Domestic and International Shipping rates are calculated at check out, all prices are based on the delivery location and the items being purchased. You will be able to select your method and service at check out. We ship out of our office in Los Angeles; ground shipping time frames are 1-5 business days after processing.

MILITARY ADDRESSES/PO BOXES

We ship with UPS, which currently does not ship to PO Boxes or Military Addresses, if you entered a PO Box or APO Address, please email us immediately and provide a physical address.
If you do not have a physical address, and the order is under 10lbs, we will ship the package with UPS Surepost, which can take 4-15 business days to arrive.
If you do not have a physical address will need to select UPS Ground at checkout, and then immediately email help@spirithoods.com with the following in the subject line:
URGENT APO/PO BOXES ADDRESS UPDATE + (YOUR ORDER ID).

If we do not hear from you, and the order is under 10lbs and can be processed with UPS Surepost, and the package will travel with UPS to the delivery destination city and then transfer to USPS for the final delivery. This shipment type typically takes 4-15 Business Days.

Holiday Shipping Policy

Our Howliday Return Window Starts Oct 15th - Dec 15th. If you purchase a gift during this period, you have until January 15th to initiate an Exchange, Store Credit or Return with us. 

If you are purchasing a SpiritHood as a Howliday (Holiday) gift, orders shipped via ground UPS must be placed on or before midnight of Dec. 15th, for guaranteed delivery.
Orders shipped via UPS Express must be placed on or before noon on Dec. 22nd.

We ship with UPS, we will NEVER notify recipients of shipments going out unless they are the ones who ordered. If this is a gift, and the recipient is signed up for a UPS My Choice Account, it is possible the recipient will be notified based on their personal UPS My Choice Account preferences.

We do not know who has a UPS \My Choice Account, and we do not have the ability to find out/turn this option off. This option is something the consumer sets up, on UPS.com as a means to protect their inbound packages.

Confirmation on Shipping

When your item has been shipped we will send you an email confirming your shipment and provide you with your tracking number.

We will only email the email address associated with the SpiritHoods Account, with tracking information.

If the Recipient of the order is different from the purchaser, the Recipient could be notified of a package coming to them from SpiritHoods, if they are signed up for a UPS My Choice Account. This is something the consumer sets up, outside of SpiritHoods, and SpiritHoods cannot know who has one of these accounts, and if they will be notified.

If you are unsure if the recipient has a UPS My Choice Account, we recommend shipping the gift to yourself to keep it a surprise. Keep in mind, most consumers set up a UPS My Choice Account to help protect all inbound packages they have shipping to them. They can select to pick up from a local UPS facility, or schedule deliveries for days they will be home. This is typically used to help limit package theft and for people who work all day and are not home to receive packages and need more options. SpiritHoods cannot control if a recipient of a SpiritHoods gift, is signed up for this option, and is notified through there UPS My Choice Account.

International shipping rates may vary depending on the country that we are shipping to. Typical transit time is between 1-10 business days, but occasionally items can experience customs delay of several weeks. When a package is in transit tracking is not provided for you package, we can only confirm delivery.

CUSTOMS FEES & VAT TAXES

All international orders are subject to be charged an additional VAT or Customs Tax, these fees and taxes vary by country. SpiritHoods has no way of knowing what these charges will be as they vary by country and are based on the price you paid when purchasing on the SpiritHoods website. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. SpiritHoods is not responsible for any additional charges when they occur, and by law, we cannot declare prices lower than their actual value. If you used a discount code, we do honor that pricing on all international forms, but legally we cannot adjust anything lower than what you paid.  You authorize us to designate a carrier to act as your agent with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country, to clear your merchandise and advance (on your behalf) any duties and taxes owed by you.

We do include a NAFTA for all qualifying products  going to Canada, Australia, and Mexico.

Risk of loss and title for merchandise shipped internationally will pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.  Additionally, when ordering from SpiritHoods.com, you are the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international Customers and Customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Also, we may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as description, to our international carriers, and this information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.

If the order is a gift, the package is marked “Gift,” but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require us to state the value of the gift item directly on the package.

Refused Shipments – If you decide to refuse any shipments from SpiritHoods.com, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to SpiritHoods.com. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise credit.

Backorder Policy

If you have backordered items in your cart at checkout, those items will not be shipped to you until the item(s) are in stock and available to ship. During the checkout process, you will be able to select if you want all of your items to be shipped together or separate. You will be able to see expected ship dates for backordered items, but these dates are subject to change. You will not be charged additional freight for backordered items that do not ship with your original order.

Shipping Address Options

Packages can be sent to the same address as your billing address or to another address for domestic orders. Either option may be selected during the checkout process. Please make sure that the correct address corresponds to the designated billing and shipping areas on the form.

Lost/Missing Packages

SpiritHoods are not liable if the incorrect address is placed during the checkout process. If you notice you entered your address incorrectly, after the order has shipped, you can call UPS with the tracking provided 
Please make sure that your billing and shipping address is correct before processing your order. If we have made an error we will fully take responsibility of the original order that was made for you at no charge.

All prices on our site are listed in US dollars, if your IP address is international the website will default to your countries currency.
