The brutal treatment of Black Americans is unacceptable.
All last week, our team had lengthy and passionate conversations in the wake of the murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, and so many victims before them. We held unfiltered talks and shared some of our own intimate experiences with prejudice, police, and racism. The heartfelt discussions were powerful and heartbreaking, leaving us with a deeper sense of connection with one another. This gave us a chance to grieve, express frustrations and get out other pent-up emotions around the current state of affairs.
SpiritHoods stands in solidarity with our black employees, partners, customers, friends, and community in the fight against systemic racism and injustice.
We have donated to the cause, but we can do more. We will make additional moves to support the black community. To be even more inclusive, we will use more black models on our website and platforms. We will work with more black owned businesses. We will highlight more black influencers, creators, and artists. And we will do our part to make content that better represents and resonates with the black community.
