Job #1) Inbound Digital Content Manager

New hires for this position will be required to work locally in our Downtown Los Angeles office. 

SpiritHoods is looking for a creative and savvy Inbound Digital Content Manager who will utilize a combination of social network management, community engagement, influencer activation and partnership opportunities to drive our Inbound and social strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with our owners to create, curate and manage all published content (images, video, copy), and will optimize content for each social network platform and its target audience.
As our Inbound Digital Content Manager, you are up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You have excellent communication skills and are able to creatively express the company’s views. You have fun while increasing web traffic and customer engagement, with the ultimate goal of turning fans into customers.


  • Create unique content based on the needs of each channel
  • Think creatively on a daily basis and further develop the company voice by creating unique and visually
  • stimulating content, interesting stories, videos or verbiage
  • Develop a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, whitepapers, e-books, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.).
  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers)
  • Daily unique posts that are different on each channel
  • Promote content/posts based on predetermined monthly ad budget o Organize and manage contests and giveaways
  • Write blogs and product releases with original creative content
  • Create behind-the-scenes content on shoots or at events
  • Organize live broadcasts
  • Collaborate with the owners to formulate creative social media campaigns and content • Engagement across all social channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter)
  • Interact daily with our social followers (all platforms)
  • Maintain, grow and improve the authentic voice of the company
  • Build and grow our audiences/followers • Influencer Management
  • Reaching out to content contributors and existing influencers o Manage the ambassador program
  • Manage product being given/sent to influencers
  • Reporting
  • Report on inbound performance to highlight wins, areas of improvement and recommendations for
  • future programs
  • Deliver monthly reporting on social engagement, traction, promoted posts, etc.
  • Calendar
  • Work cross-functionally to determine content & social strategy for new releases, promotions, general
  • content and other initiatives
  • Develop and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties
  • Work with our graphic designer when needed for posts
  • Conceptualize and create social promotions and ideas for product releases
  • Communicate with our external digital marketing agency and work with them to build and manage our inbound and outbound strategy and execution. This includes:
  • A persona-based digital marketing strategy
  • Developing/finding content that is relevant and timely
  • Assist with PR initiatives In this position you will:
  • Report to the Sales and Marketing Manager & work cross-functionally with other departments such as sales, tech, photography, and merchandising



  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in social media strategy
  • Has experience with programs such as: Google Analytics, SEMRush, Google Keyword Planner, BuzzSumo
  • Knowledgeable participant in the everchanging social media landscape
  • Understands the value of content marketing and is a passionate about social media marketing and influencer marketing
  • Is detailed oriented, has good process and is organized
  • Is an excellent communicator -- written, verbal, and visual
  • Is a curious and thoughtful listener
  • Operates well with feedback, both giving and receiving
  • Has a team mentality! The team (if we say so ourselves) is energetic, passionate and fun. We work well together and love what we do
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions
  • Bonus skills: HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite Bonus points if you:
  • Have a background in writing or journalism
  • Are passionate about generating content that converts
  • Have B2C marketing experience
